Ice Skating Queensland’s Rules and Policies set the standards and procedures for our governance and operations, with the objectives to uphold and live our Values, while also ensuring compliance with various applicable federal and state legislation.

Safe Sport Policies

ISA's National Integrity Policies

Ice Skating Queensland has adopted Ice Skating Australia’s National Integrity policies, which include Member Protection Policy and Safeguarding Children & Young People Policy. All ISQ Members agree to be bound by and comply with these Policies.

Children and Young People Safeguarding Strategy

This Child and Youth Protection Strategy compliments ISA’s Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy by outlining the proactive steps that ISQ will take to reduce the likelihood of children and young people experiencing any type of harm while engaging with our sport, our people and our organisation.

Concussion Policy & Procedures

A concussion is a brain injury. You don’t need to be knocked out to have suffered a concussion. A concussion can result from a forceful impact to the head, neck or body that causes the brain to move within the skull.

To keep skaters safe, we all must be aware of the wide ranging signs and symptoms.

If in doubt, sit them out!

ISQ Constitution & Rules

The Constitution or Rules of Ice Skating Queensland govern the conduct of the organisation and its leaders, and outline the rights of Members.
