ABOUT US

Welcome to Ice Skating Queensland! We are the peak governing body for ice skating in Queensland, overseeing the figure skating disciplines of Singles, Pairs, Ice Dance, Synchronized Skating and Theatre on Ice. We are recognised by Ice Skating Australia, the national governing body, and the Queensland Government.

We are also fortunate to own and operate two ice rinks in Brisbane, trading as Iceworld™. At these two rinks, we deliver Aussie Skate™, the nationally accredited, learn-to-skate program from Ice Skating Australia, as well as programs and competitions for skaters and teams at all levels. We also run Public Sessions every day of the week at scheduled times, welcoming beginner and experienced skaters alike.

Did you know? Figure Skating is a Winter Olympic sport and Australia first competed in this event at the 1952 Oslo Games. Learn more about Australians competing in Figure Skating at the Winter Olympics by visiting olympics.com.au.
