COMPETITIONS

Aussie Skate™ Competitions

The Aussie Skate™ Competitions provide a low-pressure introduction to competitive Figure Skating and Synchronized Skating.

Open to all skaters who currently hold ISA’s Aussie Skate™ membership or ISQ Membership, the Competitions are supported by qualified Judges and are conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of Ice Skating Australia. Competitors should be receiving private lessons in order to learn the required program.

Competitions are typically held at the end of each Skate School term, alternating between Iceworld™ Acacia Ridge and Iceworld™ Boondall. The Aussie Skate™ Competition is announced via email to ISQ members and will be posted here and on our Upcoming Events page. Speak with your coach if you’re interested in registering!

Club Competitions

To support skaters’ development, ISQ Affiliated Clubs deliver several Club Competitions throughout the season. Competitions vary on what disciplines and levels are included. Club Competitions offer a great opportunity to perform and refine your program(s) based on judges’ scoring and feedback.

Each Club Competition will be announced several weeks prior to the competition dates and skaters wishing to compete need to follow the published instructions on how to enter.
