Queensland’s Darian Kaptich Battles Top Skaters at Four Continents
The 2025 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships were held from 20-23 February in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
It was the final major figure skating stop ahead of March’s World Championships in Boston.
The event featured skaters from countries outside of Europe in all four disciplines: men’s and women’s singles, pairs skating and ice dance.
Competing in the Men’s Singles, Queensland’s Darian Kaptich finished a commendable 18th place, bettering his 21st placing from last year’s Championships.
Mikhail Shaidorov of Kazakhstan claimed the Four Continents win in the Men’s Singles, while 18-year-old Kim Chaeyeon was a clear winner in the Women’s Singles in front of her home crowd.
